What the Doc Said

So the doctors came in bright and early this morning and said that they had a chance to look at Nicholas’ numbers for the past year and that they had talked to Nick’s doctor.  They say that Nicholas’ numbers have really been around the lower 60’s for the past year and that he was pretty much at his baseline.  His baseline is where he is when he is not sick with infections.  So they are going to continue to monitor his cough, repeat the lung function on Monday and go from there.

Not necessarily “good news” since they are considering this his new baseline, but “good news” in that we will probably be able to go home next week.  So we are really still not too sure on the situation, but I feel like they are satisfied and that we should go home soon.  As always, if I learn anything new, I will let you guys know.  We are thankful for what we are given.  We are blessed.

If you trick-or-treat, be safe.

Love to all, Robin

I was hoping you guys wouldn’t be there when we roll through tomorrow night. I know you’re ready to be home. I’m thankful that you are not “below the baseline”, and praying for continued pockets of good news. See y’all tomorrow!
